OUR STORY · EST. 2022 · DUBAI

WE LEFT CORPORATE TO PLAY WITH FIRE.

We spent years in boardrooms. In 2022 we walked out, found a kiln, and started making the barbecue we couldn’t buy.

A kamado is an old idea — clay, fire, patience. Ours are fired three times, at 1400°C, 1700°C and 1800°C, until the ceramic is hard enough to shrug off a Dubai summer, a thrown bucket of water, and twenty-five years of dinners. We put that last part in writing.

We searched Ghana, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka for coal clean enough to sit under your food. We found artists here in Dubai who lay 99% pure gold into glaze and cut Diwani calligraphy from steel.

None of it was efficient. All of it was worth it. Come cook with us.

THE STORY SO FAR — FIVE CHAPTERS

  1. THE LEAP

Corporate life ends. A Dubai workshop begins — one kiln and a conviction that a barbecue can be an heirloom.

  2. THE THREE FIRES

The triple-firing schedule is locked: 1400°C, 1700°C, 1800°C. Strong enough to warrant for 25 years.

  3. THE COLOUR WALL

Seven glazes make the cut — olive, carbon, cobalt, pearl, signal red, desert orange, mustard — across six sizes. Forty-two ways to own one.

  4. THE ARTISTS

Kintsugi in 99% pure gold, Diwani calligraphy in laser-cut steel. A commission floor opens — made to order in about three weeks.

  5. THE TABLE

Deliveries from Abu Dhabi to Ras Al Khaimah, recipes traded on WhatsApp. This page belongs to the people cooking.

HOW A DOME EARNS 25 YEARS

FIRED THREE TIMES.
PROMISED ONCE.

  1. 1400°C
    FIRST FIRE

The body sets. Clay stops being clay.

  2. 1700°C
    SECOND FIRE

The glaze fuses into the ceramic — colour that lives in the surface, not on it.

  3. 1800°C
    THIRD FIRE

The proof. Hotter than the dome will ever see again in its life.

That’s why every ceramic body carries a 25-year warranty — in writing, against material defects.

GOLD SEAMS.
STEEL CALLIGRAPHY.

Our Dubai-based artists lay kintsugi seams in 99% pure gold — every commission made to order, about three weeks from sketch to fire. Laser-cut Diwani calligraphy is part of the same story, though it's unavailable right now.
